Celebrity Eclipse

Celebrity Eclipse entered service in 2010, her keel was laid down in 2009 at the Meyer Werft shipyard in germany and cost of 750 million dollars to build.Celebrity Eclipse is a Solstice-class cruise ship,she is the sister ship of the Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Equinox,these ships are considered to be some of the most environment-friendly ships in the world due to their highly-efficient hull coatings and lighting system Solstice-class vessels save 30% more energy than other ships.
shortly after completion the celebrity eclipse was used to rescue 2000 British tourists stranded in Spain due to the Iceland Volcano Eruption.


one of the ships unusual features include a real grass lawn where passengers can enjoy a round of mini golf or try their luck with the giant Jenga puzzle,other unusual features on the eclipse include the Martini Bar which is made from ice, and a glass blowing studio,the celebrity eclipse is also furnished with all the usual activities found on a modern cruise ship.
