MS Albatros was built at the Wärtsilä Helsinki New Shipyard Finland, the ship was completed in 1973 and launched as the royal Viking sea and was operated by royal Viking line, she has also sailed under the names Royal Odyssey, Norwegian Star, and Crown the ship received her present name Albatros in 2005 and she is currently chartered to German-based Phoenix Reisen.
