Costa Fascinosa was built at the Fincantieri shipyards in Italy at a cost of 510 million euro's

she is a relatively new ship, and came into service in 2012 embarking on her maiden voyage on may 6th, frascinosa is a Concordia-class cruise ship, Costa fascinosa and her sister ship the Costa Favolosa both received their names via a competition, a shortlist of names was made available on costa's website so that visitors could vote for their favourite.

Described as being the most glamorous ship in the Costa fleet the Fascinosa has all the amenities you expect to find on a modern cruise ship including a theatre on 3 levels, a grand prix racing car simulator, a 4D cinema, art gallery displaying 329 original works of art by well-known and emerging artists, plenty of bars restaurants and eating establishments and a Pool deck with retractable glass roof and giant screen plus much more.
