Costa Neoromantica

Costa neoRomantica was built in 1993 at the italian based Fincantieri shipyard after completion she sailed under the name of Costa romantica she is the sister ship to Costa Classica, she was christened on 22 september 1993 by her godmother Maria Alessandra Costa Fantoni, her original maiden voyage took place on 1 january 1993.

in 2011 the ship underwent a major refit costing 90 million Euros, part of the refurbishment involved adding Two new half decks to the ship and additional outside cabins were also added a feature that was lacking in her original design, due to this refit the weight of the vessel has increased by 3,000 tonnes making her new weight 56,000 tonnes, the ship was also re-named to Costa neoRomantica.

The ship has a total of 789 cabins accommodating up to 1,800 guests, there are 46 cabins with private balconies and 28 suites again with their own private balcony.

some of neoRomantica main features are 2 swimming pools and 2 whirlpools, fitness centre and jogging track, solarium, shopping centre, disco, casino, plus numerous bars and restaurants.
