Disney Fantasy

Disney Fantasy is currently the newest ship in the Disney fleet she came into service in march 2012 at a cost of $900 million she is almost identical to her sister ship Disney dream, the ships structure painted in the traditional Disney black and white livery with red funnels. The ship was christened at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York by pop star Mariah Carey singer of the 1995 hit song  “Fantasy”.

On board there is a good choice of cabins from the standard inside stateroom to the Concierge Royal Suite with Verandah, as with all of Disney’s ships the fantasy is family orientated so the vessel is lacking some of the facilities you would expect to find on a traditional cruise ship such as a casino and library, but there are some adult only venues on the ship, The Tube, is an adults-only nightclub and Ooh La La, is an adults-only lounge. the sports facilities on Disney fantasy are limited to a basketball court a fitness centre a mini golf course and a jogging track.

The ship is equipped with 3 swimming pools one for kids, one for families, and one just for adults
Other highlights on the ship include a large-sized theatre located on Decks 3 and 4 complete with Dolby® 3D and Dolby® Surround 7.1, Character Greetings, where kids and adults can meet and greet Disney Characters and the Aqua Duck an exciting transparent tube water coaster.
