Disney Wonder

Disney Wonder is the second oldest ship in the Disney fleet; she came into service in 1999 a year after her sister the Disney magic, both ships are almost identical in construction the ship’s hull painted in the traditional Disney black and white livery with red funnels.

All four ships in the Disney fleet have the same distinctive feature that the ships horn can play theme tunes from some of Disney’s well known films including "When You Wish Upon a Star" and "Yo Ho A Pirate's Life for Me"

The ship was named at her home port of Port Canaveral on the 1st of October 1999,she made history as the first ever cruise ship to be named by a fictional character, the ships godmother Tinker Bell completed the christening by sprinkling Pixie Dust over the ship.

on board there is a good range of cabins to choose from All cabins are equipped with a TV, hairdryer, telephone, a safe for your valuables, Single or double convertible sofa, and a Privacy curtain.

Other onboard features include The Walt Disney Theatre, Quarter Masters Arcade, the route 66 nightclub, Goofy’s Family Pool and much more, as with all of Disney’s ships the wonder is family orientated so the vessel is lacking some of the facilities you would expect to find on a traditional cruise ship such as a casino and library.
