Fred Olson - Boudicca

MV Boudicca was built in 1973 at the Hietalahti shipyard in Finland at a cost of $22 million and named Royal Viking Sky, the ship has sailed under 10 different names including her current name Boudicca which she acquired after coming into service in 2006 with Fred Olson cruise lines, the ship also received an extensive refit at this time including redesigning of public rooms to match the rest of the Fred Olson fleet, extra cabins increasing her total occupancy from 536 to just under 900 passengers, the vessel also received new engines.

On board there is a good selection of cabins from single and twin inside cabins approximately 140 square feet in size to the 550 square feet Premier Suite.

some of the ships facilities include Swimming Pools & Jacuzzis, Sauna and Steam Rooms, a well-equipped fitness centre, Arts and Crafts Room, shops selling everything from post cards to fine jewellery, cabaret and music in the Neptune lounge, The Observatory lounge with its large panoramic windows offering stunning views of the ever changing vista and a fully equipped Internet Room.
