Ms 0osterdam pronounced "OH-ster-dam." was built at the Italian Fincantieri shipyards and came into service for Holland America line in 2003 and is sister ship to MS Noordam, MS Westerdam, and MS Zuiderdam', 0osterdam is a Vista-class ship and is equipped with the latest industry and environmental technologies such as her use of a diesel-electric power plant for optimal energy efficiency and an Azipod propulsion system that maximizes manoeuvrability.



On board There are 5 types of cabins available Interior, Ocean-view, Verandah Staterooms, Signature Suites and Neptune Suites with addition options within each type, cabins range from approximately 140 sq feet for a basic cabin up to 1,150 sq feet for a penthouse suite which includes 24-hour Concierge Service, king-size bed, oversize whirlpool bath & shower & additional shower stall, living room, dining room, dressing room, private verandah with whirlpool, pantry, 1 sofa bed for 2 persons, microwave, refrigerator, guest toilet, private stereo system, floor-to-ceiling windows.

For entertainment 0osterdam offers The Vista show lounge featuring talented vocalists, dancers, illusionists, comedians etc, a state of the art fitness centre and gym, Crow’s nest lounge and night club, plus all the usual facilities you would expect to find on a modern cruise ship, for younger passengers there’s exciting youth and teen friendly activities and facilities for guests ages 3 to 17 including Club HAL® where Children, ages 3-7, can participate in such activities as pirate treasure hunts, hands-on pizza making, storytelling etc, for older children there are suitable activities such as xbox and wii tournaments in the games room.
