Princess Cruises is an American cruise line that operates cruise ships and also shares the same building with Cunard Line headquarters. It is one of the many cruise lines owned by Carnival Corporation & plc. The company was made famous by The Love Boat TV series, in which two of its ships, the Island Princess and Pacific Princess were featured. As of 2012 princess cruises operates a fleet of 16 cruise ships not including 2 new ships on order, the Royal princess is expected to come into service summer 2013, along with her yet to be named sister ship which should be completed in 2014.
