Majesty of the seas was constructed at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in France, she is currently the oldest vessel in the royal Caribbean fleet coming into service in 1992, Majesty of the seas belongs to the sovereign class and is the last ship in the class that is still operated by royal Caribbean, her two sister ships were Monarch of the seas and sovereign of the seas, both these ships have been transferred to Pullmantur Cruises who are based in Spain.

In early 2007 Majesty was taken out of service and received a multimillion dollar refit, including refurbishment to her public areas and cabins and additional venues added including Johnny rockets American diner.

On board the ship there are four cabin types to choose from these are interior, outside, and suites each type has a good choice of options, a typical interior cabin is equipped with a Sitting area, Two twin beds or one Royal King bed, Luxurious bedding, TV, telephone and safe, Private bathroom with shower, vanity area and hair dryer, Room service available, while top of the range suites  include extra touches such as private balconies and a personalised concierge service.

The ship offers plenty of dining options and food is served in the main dining room, but if you prefer a change from the traditional dining there are plenty of speciality restaurants available for a small extra charge, at the windjammer cafe you can get a light snack, such as a panini or a sandwich or a laid back dinner, or you could head over to sorrentos for a delicius pizza, the ship is also equipped with an all american diner decorated in 1950s decor. 

As you would expect from a royal Caribbean ship, Majesty of the seas offers plenty of entertainment, you can choose to relax at the spa and fitness centre, or if you are feeling more energetic theres a rock climbing wall, jogging track, and basketball court other facilities on the ship include video arcade,  internet centre, two pools and two whirlpools, beauty salon, internet centre, art gallery and much much more.
