E-deck was the sixth deck down from the top of the ship Most of the deck was taken up by 2nd and third class cabins, Other rooms on this deck included the second class barber shop, various crew quarters, the engineers mess, two sets of public Lavatories one on the port side and one starboard and various store rooms including the potato store and wash room
Upper deck E also provided access to Scotland Road, which was the main passageway for third class passengers, to get from the bow quarters, to the stern, and for the crew to serve different parts of the ship.
